Congratulations on taking the first step towards reaching your goals and feeling better! This step is often the most difficult and I commend you this important decision. Choosing a therapist to help you is a personal decision. Below is some information about me to help you decide if we might be a good match.

I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Miami and have remained in South Florida where I and my husband raised our three adult children. For the past 25 years, I helped clients in my private practice to improve their interpersonal relationships, overcome life's stresses and transitions and feel less depressed and anxious. Generally I use Cognitive Behavioral Strategies, along with supportive therapy and Positive Psychology approaches to set and reach goals. I view therapy as a partnership where we work together. I also believe that healthy sleep, nutrition and exercise habits impact mental health, so I will likely explore how those areas may be affecting you.
