I am licensed in Florida with 45 years of professional work experience as a counselor and psychotherapist. I have a Ph.D. in psychology and I am licensed in Florida as a Mental Health Counselor (FL #MH6058). I was an adjunct professor of psychology and I have taught at Rollins College, Valencia Community College, Stetson University, and Seminole State College. I have experience in helping clients - children, teens, aduts, seniors, couples, and families - with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem, confidence, grief, loss, abuse, life transitions, & career difficulties. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. I have appeared on Oprah, 60 Minutes, The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Disney Channel, The Daily Buzz, ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, NPR, PBS, ESPN, and many other TV and radio shows. I have hosted two TV call-in advice shows and two radio call-in advice shows, plus a daily interview show that was a podcast for over a year.
