I am a Pennsylvania Licensed Psychologist who has been in private practice for 30 some years. I began practicing doing child abuse and child custody evaluations which required many hours in court. Subsequently, much of my practice is with adults experiencing depression, anxiety and trauma. The use of teletherapy has made seeking therapy somewhat less prohibitive since clients do not have to travel or necessarily take time off from work.
My approach is to listen carefully to feelings and issues one has and assist in changing or accepting them and at times, to modify them. This is done jointly with clients so they feel they are being heard.
