Hello there, my name is Dr. Lauren Serdencuk and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida. I obtained a Bachelors degree in Psychology from CUNY Queens College, a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercy College, and a PhD from Nova Southeastern University. I am also a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) in the state of Florida. My specialties include Substance Abuse, Chronic Illness, Depression, Family Conflicts, Relationship Issues, and Anxiety. I come from a Solution-Focused approach, meaning we explore solutions for the future instead of focusing on the past. I provide a safe, non-biased, and casual environment to assist clients feel more comfortable and at ease. I find it to be very important for clients to feel connected to their therapists and I am always checking in with my clients to assure I am meeting their expectations.
