My journey to mental healthcare I am a firsthand witness of the multi-generational, systemic loss and devastation caused to families because of domestic violence, mental illness, substance abuse, gun violence, poverty, and the overall breakdown of the nuclear family. My tumultuous life serves as a compass guiding me to turn the adversities of my life into steppingstones for others. My first session with you During the first session, Dr. Pitts explains her approach to the therapeutic process and relationship and addresses any questions the client(s) may have.
