Hello,
I am a licensed professional counselor with over 14 years of experience in the helping profession. While I consider my therapeutic approach primarily cognitive behavioral and solution focused- I am eclectic, meaning that I incorporate approaches that best fits the individual. My motto has always been to "meet the client where the are" and that has been the driving force in my counseling experiences. I hold a Doctorate degree in counseling from Argosy University and a Masters in counseling from Towson University. I have specializations in working with adults and adolescent substance abuse, trauma, and mood disorders.

My counseling style is warm, open and sensitive to the client's needs. I believe in treating client's with respect and dignity. I assist clients with identifying their strengths and support systems without focusing much on the pathology of the problem.

I understand that counseling can feel like venturing into an unknown territory and that it takes courage to open up to a counselor. My goal is to be your guide, empower and support you while you seek a more happier and fulfilling life.
