As a Clinical Psychologist, my primary focus has been working with children, adolescents and their families as well as young adults. I received a Master's Degree in Psychology from Concordia University. I was awarded a second Master's Degree and Doctoral Degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Argosy University, Throughout my 20-year career, my training and WORK experiences varied to include community mental health, intensive inpatient and outpatient treatment settings as well as working in the foster care system. These experiences have prepared me to be a strong advocate for my clients as well as provide culturally diverse and evidence-based treatments. I recognize how complicated life can be and how overwhelming it can become when you or a loved one is struggling. I understand the importance of early identification, assessment, and intervention. I believe that change occurs with the assistance and support of family, friends, and significant others. I utilize a collaborative approach striving to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients and their families where concerns can be explored, individual, strengths can be recognized and personal growth can occur.
