Hello, and welcome!

I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology and am licensed in the states of Illinois and Nevada. I have fifteen plus years of experience, mostly in individual therapy. I am a generalist, so I draw from the psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and humanistic therapies in order to shape approaches and interventions that are a right fit for you.

I have worked with a variety of individuals with unique emotional, societal, medical, and psychological issues. However, some of my most extensive experience has been working with people who struggle with depression, anxiety, relational discord, and stress management issues. I also have a specialty in health psychology, treating the psychological impact of medical illness, chronic stress, and pain conditions.

Regardless of the issue or condition, the most important aspect of therapy for me is building a solid, comfortable therapeutic relationship. I always strive to offer the client an environment of empathy, respect, warmth, and non-judgment. I like to think of therapy as a collaborative endeavor, where I bring my knowledge and experience of psychological issues and interventions, and you bring your own unique history, strengths, and challenges. Together, we can effect positive, meaningful change, improved mood, and personal growth.
