Hi! Searching for a therapist can be a stressful process. Reading a variety of profiles, learning about specializations, and wondering if the person would be a good fit. I get it! Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Katia Arroyo and go by Dr. A (because of the whole rolling the r's situation). I am a bilingual (English & Spanish) licensed clinical psychologist in Florida and have 8+ years of experience. In addition to working in private practice, I have experience working in State & VA hospitals. My work is focused on helping adult clients who have experienced trauma, regain control of their life back. The first sessions are focused on getting to know each other and providing skills to assist with managing the distress presented by trauma. Whether it is depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, women's or relationship issues, I am here for YOU!
