I am a Clinical Psychologist who has worked for over 40 years with people who have experienced serious traumatic events in their lives. I also like to work with individuals who are having trouble dealing with the stress and anxiety of regular and current life events. I especially like to work with teens who need an accepting and non-judgmental adult to talk to. I also work well with trauma survivors who need to learn real, positive coping skills for their current lives.
My approach to therapy emphasizes the development of a warm and accepting relationship with my client, with a strong focus on the unique strengths and positive features of your unique personality.
I like to set simple and practical short term goals that fit with the reasons that people come to therapy.
I have an active sense of humor, and I’m always looking for ways to have some fun with the therapy
process.
