Hello, my name is Jill, I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years experience helping individuals, families and couples with a wide range of concerns including depression, grief and loss, anxiety, stress management, life transitions, parenting challenges and trauma. I have also specialized in working with individuals with developmental disabilities and their caregivers.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I enjoy helping people be a better version of themselves to overcome their life challenges. I listen intently to what my client is challenged with and help them to identify and connect with their inner strengths and other resources to help them find solutions to their problems.
My approach in therapy is a combination of client-centered, cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavior modalities. I believe that in order to be successful in therapy, clients need to feel safe and secure.
