I'm Dr. Jennifer Sumerlin, owner and operator of Tabula Rasa Psychotherapy, LLC. I'm a Marriage and Family Therapist, licensed in both New Jersey and Florida. I completed my post-secondary education in NJ which included diverse clinical trainings in mental health practices, agencies, and hospitals. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology, as well as my doctorate in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Social Justice from St. Elizabeth University (formerly The College of St. Elizabeth). I also hold a Master of Science from Seton Hall University in Marriage and Family Therapy. With almost 10 years of post-graduate experience, my practice focuses on children (ages 6-11), adolescents (ages 12-17), and adults (ages 18+) who are struggling with feelings of depression and anxiety, as well as LGBTQIA+ issues, multicultural issues, grief, ADHD, college mental health, trauma, family conflict, relationship issues, marital and premarital issues, separation, divorce, attachment, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, anger management.
