I’m Dr. Jennifer McManus and I’m a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Florida. I am dedicated to helping women find their own life balance. I am passionate about helping women feel like themselves again so they can live their lives to the fullest. I light up when my clients feel peaceful with renewed hope for the future. And, oh, those ripple effects. Counseling often impacts more than only the therapy client’s life in positive ways. The kind of transformation one can experience from participating in psychotherapy has the potential for some serious ripple effects. When we improve our own emotional well-being, we bring our ideal self to each interaction, whether that be with our significant other, family, friends, or colleagues. Let me introduce myself I am a Licensed Psychologist in Florida who is passionate about providing high quality psychotherapy. I have over 10 years of experience in clinical psychology providing psychotherapy, counseling, psychological assessment, consultation, supervision, and training. Prior to opening my private practice, I was a hospital psychology director for 5 years. Through this role, I gained direct experience of the unique challenges faced by those in demanding leadership positions. I considered supporting my employees and colleagues with managing stress and preventing professional burnout to be among my most important responsibilities. I have to admit, part of the reason I resigned from hospital service to open my own private practice was because I felt called to support other professionals with stress and burnout at a deeper and more meaningful level than was possible in my prior professional role.
