About

I am a psychologist licensed in California with over 15 years of counseling experience. I've earned a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from National University in San Diego and a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, acute and post traumatic stress disorders, first responder issues, military/veteran concerns, men's issues, fatherhood challenges, substance abuse, and sexual addiction. This is my second career. I spent 25 years on Active Duty as an enlisted man and have a great passion for working with veterans, first responders, and their families.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with unconditional positive regard, respect, and compassion. I often view myself as a supportive guide or coach through life's challenges. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic, and Jungian therapies. We will work together, in partnership, and I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!
