About

With 25 years experience in private practice as well as 5 years as an inpatient clinical director, I provide individual, group, and family counseling as well as supervise students, interns, and staff completing their professional degrees and continuing education/certification. I have a doctorate in counseling, two master's in divinity and psychology, and licensed in Illinois and Colorado as a professional counselor.

First, I listen to understand clients' concerns, and after assessing their strengths and needs I work with them to discover and utilize their resources to resolve or improve their issues. Second, I teach restorative practices to aid clients with the confidence and success to address present and future problems. And lastly, I follow-up with clients to be sure they are getting the support needed as well as to further evaluate my effectiveness and growth in the counseling field.
