About

I am a clinical psychologist and have been licensed in Arizona for 25 years.

Since March of 2020, when the coronavirus became more active, the agency I work for moved to a teletherapy model. Because I have found it so effective and so convenient for my clients and myself, I decided to begin my own personal practice.

What I have learned over my career is that I am at my happiest and most fulfilled when I am working one on one with clients helping them to heal and to become their best selves. I am a warm and empathic therapist offering a non-judgmental and safe space for clients to explore their issues. I am an excellent listener and see my role as a supportive and attuned guide in a therapeutic process that each client owns and that is unique to them. I guide clients to better understand how their histories influence their adult functioning and how they can work to move forward in their lives on their own terms.

I have experience working with a wide range of issues throughout the lifespan and I love to help with mind-body connections. Helping clients with emotional regulation is a hallmark of the work that I do, and if you work with me I will likely encourage you to develop a practice of self care activities that could include exercising, walking, stretching, deep breathing, yoga, meditation, journaling, drawing/coloring/arts, etc.
