Hello! I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a PhD in Forensic Psychology. The topic of my dissertation was: Evaluating Factors Used by Mental Health Professionals to Access Juvenile Adjudicative Competency. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and hold a Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC-IT) License. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

I provide therapeutic support services both individually and in-group settings with varying mental health issues. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults from culturally diverse backgrounds. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, parenting problems, OCD, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I utilize evidence-based practices in my practice including Trauma Informed Care, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am passionate about helping others and believe everyone should have a safe and healing place to work through life’s issues. I enjoy assisting individuals to build on their existing strengths and to live their best life possible.
