I'm a license psychologist in California since 1998. I have worked in multiple settings throughout all of these years, from State of California institution and multiple agencies, to testifying as an expert witness in Federal Court cases, to working for County agencies and of course my favorite setting... working 1 on 1 with individual clients. I speak and write fluent English and Spanish, and I can maintain basic communicate in both in Portuguese and Italian.
My therapy approach is Client-Centered, Solution-Focused , Existential Therapy . along with Mindfulness Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy .
The first goal is to make the client feel comfortable to express their current life issues, stressor and emotional difficulties. The client is 100% in control as to what issues they want to work on first, what direction they want to take in order to improve their life journey, and in what time frame they want to accomplish this.
