I am a clinical psychologist with over 40 years of experience helping people overcome anxiety, depression, insomnia, substance misuse and marital conflicts. I do therapy from the perspective of cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). With couples I work from the perspective developed by Dr. John Gottman. My approach is practical, client centered and solution focused. In addition to my clinical work, I also teach graduate students in psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
