I am a psychologist licensed in California with over 20 years of experience. I received my BS in Nursing from BIOLA University. I was a Navy Nurse for 31/2 years and served in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. I earned my doctorate in psychology from Azusa Pacific University. I worked in a state hospital for 15 years specializing in adults with a history of childhood trauma. I've been trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy which is a set of skills to help people manage their emotions. The ClearBeliefs Method, which helps to free one from past limitations, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which helps to identify and cope with specific challenges, to name a few of my treatment approaches.
