About

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to consider working with me as you move forward in your goals and in your life. I hope and pray that you find the resources you need to move forward, regardless of whether or not I have the honor to join you on your journey. I'm proud to have been blessed with the opportunities to earn a number of degrees in behavioral and mental health, including an MA and PhD in school and neuropsychology from Ball State University and my BA in psychology from Saginaw Valley State University, and I feel very blessed to have worked with a number of wonderful supervisors, colleagues, and patients, clients, and students who have all taught me something. It is my hope that I get the opportunity to pay forward what has been given to me. To expand a bit on my experiences and interests, I've had chances to work with a diversity of people experiencing all levels and presentations of mental and behavioral concerns. My earlier experiences included years of experience providing school psychology services in Pre-K to 12 schools under the supervision of certified school psychologists. I then had the opportunity to assess veterans at a VA hospital in Indiana as part of a practicum supervised by a neuropsychologist. I worked in and co-supervised a university psychological assessment clinic, I taught assessment and development classes at two different universities, and obtained and completed a competitive APA pre-doctoral internship through the University of Nebraska Medical Center – Munroe Meyer Institute Rural Integrated Care program. I then worked in private practice near Saginaw, MI, and most recently gained years of experience working with high-acuity patients in a locked state psychiatric hospital. I am honored to now be blessed with the opportunity to serve those seeking assessment and therapy through GLPG's telehealth platform.
