Dr. Esther Lee is a trained a psychotherapist with a PhD in clinical psychology. She approaches psychotherapy as collaboration between the therapist and the individual. She is interested in helping people seeking holistic well-being and meaning in life. Dr. Lee’s clinical experience at Columbia University Medical Center gave her a broad scope of mental health treatments and a special interest in working with women who are expecting or recently postpartum. Furthermore, through her work at the counseling centers at Baruch College and Columbia University she developed a passion for helping young adults navigate the demands of academia and pursuit of their professional aspirations. Throughout her years of clinical experience, she has worked with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds in terms of race/ethnicity, immigration history, sexual orientation, gender identity, and SES. She appreciates the intersections of identities and the complexities of sociocultural issues impacting the individual's sense of self and well-being.
