Hello,
My name is Esther Brahmstadt, a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Virginia. I have 20 years of experience in the mental health field and am enthusiastic about helping individuals improve their ability to cope with life’s stressors. I have extensive experience providing therapy to people struggling with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, stress, trauma, ADHD, and the desire to make health behavior change.

I treat from a cognitive-behavioral lens. This means I explore how behaviors, thoughts, and emotions interact within each individual and offer skills to manage problems in a healthier or more helpful way. We develop clear goals and monitor progress on those goals regularly. Making changes takes work, and I am eager to help in learning new skills.
