Few of us reach adulthood without experiencing trauma, loss, relationship issues and loss. You are so much more than what you have been through. I see your worth and I want to help you deepen your connections and support you to live your life in a way that brings joy. As a therapist, my greatest gift to you is relationship. Through the relationship we develop, we will work through your issues, practice new ways of being, and start to heal age old hurts. You won't have to be alone in your darkest most painful times- I will walk the journey with you in whatever way you are comfortable. Every person deserves to have someone rooting for him/her/them as they climb out of the hole and reach for the light. Let's do it together.

I have lived in several places in the United States, but have called Michigan my home for the last 20 years. When I am not working, you can find me trying to get my massive labradoodle to listen, running my kids back and forth to swimming and enjoying Michigan with my family. I also do not make it through a day without completing WorldIe. I love to cook, listen to podcasts, love technology, and have been known to do a craft here and there. I also enjoy binging shows and volunteering at my kids' schools. We are a camping family and during the weekends, you can usually find us exploring Michigan campground by campground.

I graduated with my Masters Degree from Wayne State University and have my Doctorate in clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology. I am not new to being a therapist, but I am new to the Find A Therapist platform. I have worked with other clients through Telehealth and though we cannot be in person, I think Telehealth can be engaging and it gives me a chance to know what you life is like. (I love seeing your pets!) I am excited to work with you and know we will be able to make great progress.

First and foremost, when we start working together, I want to establish a safe place. I want you to know I am rooting for you and that I am here to support you. I want to go at your pace with telling your story and I want to help you relieve your symptoms as quickly as possible. I have carved out time in my days to read and thoughtfully respond to your messages and will respond as quickly as possible. I like to use humor to point out patterns and cognitive dissonance-- analogies are my favorite way to learn! We will establish some goals, talk about how this process will work for us and dive right in. I am open to any kind of feedback- tell me if you are getting too much of something and not enough of something else. Together, we will build this process to make it work and help you heal! You are no longer alone in this journey!
