I’m a licensed clinical psychologist. I completed my doctorate (PhD) at Stony Brook University, clinical internship at UCLA and most recently, my postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University. I have extensive experience treating youth, adolescents, adults and couples experiencing a wide range of challenges. I believe in building a strong relationship with each client using a non-judgmental, compassionate stance to improve treatment outcomes. Growth and personal exploration are facilitated as you learn skills to cope and even thrive through adversity. I take an integrative approach utilizing cognitive behavior therapy, emotion-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, as well as other components of other orientations as appropriate for each individual.
