About

I am a clinical psychologist licensed in MD. My approach to counseling and therapy is integrative and my primary focus is what the individual needs to meet their goals. I have worked with clients from a diverse array of identities and presenting concerns. I approach the therapy process with curiosity and humility and believe that the client is the authority on their life story. Each individual client is a mosaic, comprised of their life experiences, narratives, interpersonal connections/relationships and more. My role as a therapist is to help the client see the mosaic, and to embrace their strength and resilience not only for having made it to this point in their lives but for also recognizing when they need help.

I believe strongly in a client's desire and ability to change and consider it an honor to be part of that journey. Sometimes the journey may be very brief (perhaps because I may not be a good match for what the client needs) and at other times, it may be a long and fulfilling one. Regardless of the length of the journey, I look forward to being a part of it.

I am multilingual and can provide therapy in Hindi, Bangla and Urdu.
