About
Dr. Lobo is an educated, experienced, and licensed mental health professional. He has extensive experience working with children, teenagers, and their families. He has successfully worked with some of the most challenging youth in various settings, including the foster care, academic, and juvenile justice sectors in both the public and private sector. He currently consults with Miami-County Public Schools, New York Public Schools, and several Charter School Systems and operates a thriving private practice.
Dr. Lobo specializes in working with the most challenging children and teenagers around behavioral and academic issues and is proficient in assisting families in getting back on track.
Counseling is not a miracle cure or a magic wand; however, sometimes talking to an objective individual and sharing your thoughts and feelings can be highly therapeutic and liberating, and getting non-judgemental feedback and guidance can be extremely helpful in navigating life’s issues. Many times things can begin to be sorted out in a couple of sessions.
