Trained as a psychologist (Ph.D. from Cornell University 1979, I have specialized in numerous areas of individual and family psychology and human development. Some 25 years later, I earned a specialized graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova University, the only nationally accredited program in all of Florida. I am fully licensed by the State of Florida. I have taught psychology at four universities and two colleges, including Princeton University, Tulane University, Cornell University, and Harvard Medical School. We will spend almost all of our time creating solutions, instead of analyzing problems. Problems are the results of behaviors that didn't work in the past. Solutions are the results of behaviors that will work starting right now. As a certified clinical hypnotherapist, I may find it helpful to teach you self-hypnosis, with which you can quickly learn to conquer problems like tobacco or weed addiction, phobias, IBS, tinnitus, anxiety or panic attacks, and chronic pain, among many other conditions.
