I am a licensed mental health counselor (licensed in Washington) with over 10 years of experience working with diverse populations with a wide range of mental health struggles. I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology and Global Mental Health, with a concentration in Latino Mental Health and a Doctoral Degree (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology with a Concentration in Latino Mental Health. In addition, I completed an APA accredited internship and a postdoctoral fellowship in Integrated Behavioral Medicine.

I provide therapy in both English and Spanish. I have experience working in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, integrated, community mental health, family service agencies, refugee clinics, crisis health centers, hospitals, and telehealth. Over the years, I have worked with people dealing with depression, anxiety, severe mental illness, relationship issues, parenting difficulties, life transitions, chronic complex trauma, women’s health issues and more.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I have a person-centered approach and believe in treating the whole person, which means addressing the bio-psycho-socio-cultural-spiritual. I combine a variety of treatment modalities including psychodynamic, trauma-focused, cognitive-behavioral, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, emotionally-focused therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
