I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Supervisor (LCSW-S) with over 30 years of clinical therapy experience and over 20 years as full-time faculty teaching clinical skills. I bring a wealth of clinical experience and knowledge to each “helping relationship”.

I approach the helping relationship with respect, patience, acceptance, and collaboration. My practice is client-centered, which means that I focus on your immediate needs and we problem-solving different ways to overcome roadblocks that prevent you from achieving the quality of life that you deserve. You and I will work together towards solutions that may include learning new and better ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving.

My background is broad and I have experience in most areas of counseling. I have specific training and expertise in working with individuals, couples, and the military. I specialize in adjustment issues (such as adoption, separation or divorce, betrayal, blended family, marital problems), anxiety (including PTSD, phobias, and panic attacks), cognitive issues (including memory issues), depression, and substance abuse. I use evidence-based practice methods of helping and will work with you to choose the best options for finding solutions.
