My clients come from a variety of backgrounds and walks of life, each with a unique perspective and identity. I make the client's perspective paramount in my work, because without fully understanding the client's subjective experience, therapy will be limited. Once a client feels understood and seen, we can then move on to applying the right types of interventions that fit. Sometimes, the approach is more evidence-based and straight forward. Other times, we encounter multiple problems and multiple opportunities for change. Ultimately, change is best understood through the client's own lens. I have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, relational concerns - and beyond. I focus heavily on concerns related to development across the lifespan, and how our current life stressors and challenges contribute to problems in living. I focus on both the science of psychology and the universal human drive for growth and change.
