Dr. Charlynn Ruan is a licensed clinical psychologist and has dedicated her career to helping women to live their fullest and most authentic lives. She integrates her expertise in trauma recovery, post-traumatic growth, neuropsychology, women’s peak performance, mind-body connection, personal/professional development, financial empowerment, attachment, parenting, and relationships into a unique holistic approach that helps her clients to thrive in all areas of life. Dr. Ruan has extensive experience working with CEOs, founders, and executives and the unique challenges they face. Her clients appreciate her blend of knowledge, empathy, and humor and her down-to-earth approach to therapy. She creates a safe empowering space where clients can heal, learn to love and accept themselves, and reconnect with their authentic selves, their intuition, and their voice. Dr. Ruan has advanced training in meditation & mindfulness-based treatments, EMDR, CBT for Insomnia, Attachment-Focused EMDR, neuropsychology, postpartum depression, trauma, anxiety, biofeedback, sleep, entrepreneurship, and career assessment/counseling. She is an expert in women's mental health including trauma recovery and post-traumatic growth, women’s empowerment and peak performance, infertility, pregnancy, motherhood, stress management and reduction, optimal performance, overcoming shame, self-esteem, boundary development, and personal growth and development. Dr. Ruan is certified by EMDRIA in EMDR and Attachment-Focused EMDR. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Ruan researches publish, and presents topics related to mindfulness, self-care, religion & spirituality, prevention of vicarious trauma, minority safe spaces, empowerment for women, women entrepreneurship, and the impact of maternal trauma on children.
