About
Negotiating change can be a daunting task for adolescents and adults alike causing significant stress. This emotional or behavioral reaction can take the form of anxiety, depressive symptoms, and/or behavioral changes. Triggers include work/school problems, moving, financial issues, relationship difficulties, family conflict, illness, or starting a new school/job. Since 2005, I have assisted countless adolescents and adults as they navigate the challenges presented to them. Utilizing psychotherapy and coaching, I work with individuals, couples, & families. My personal style is best described as warm, genuine, & understanding. My services are delivered with compassion, empathy, and a twist of humor. My specialty is helping people manage change in order to live happier, healthier, and more productive lives. I am certified in life coaching, anger management, parenting education, and mediation. Working as a member of the guidance team, I am the mental health clinician at Christian Brothers Academy. My clients report the following successes: Increased educational & career aspirations; Diminished feelings of unhappiness, sadness, depression, & self harm; Improved sleep habits & less worrying; Less destructive behavior & feelings of anger; Enhanced ability to make better decisions & understand consequences; Decreased use of tobacco, alcohol, & other drugs; Increased & improved interaction with families & friends.
