My Profile

I received my PhD from the University of Minnesota in an APA Approved Program in Counseling Psychology. I have been licensed as a Psychologist in the state of Colorado since 1976. I was a university professor for 30 years where I trained M.A. level mental health counselors. During this whole time, I have maintained a limited private practice as a Psychologist. My specialties include working with adult men on issues of depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship conflicts, addictions, and life crises. I am also a trained mediator. In addition, I have skills in conducting group therapy with men.
I have authored or co-authored 77 books in various areas of psychology related to my specialties and on online course in Trauma-informed-Care For
Practitioners. I currently co-host a national podcast on “Finding Hope: The End To Suffering.” Lots of free information is available at www.weinholds.org
