I am a licensed clinical counselor in N. C. and Ohio with over 30 years of counseling experience. I have assisted clients with a wide range of concerns which include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, parenting, and issues of cultural diversity and ethnic identity development. My counseling style is warm, interactive, and respectful. I give full attention to clients' experiences in order to work together to obtain effective and meaningful resolutions to their concerns. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, interpersonal, and rational-emotive counseling ingrained in culturally responsive approaches that focus on established cultural competencies to meet the unique and specific needs of clients.
