I am a licensed psychologist in Idaho (PSY-203321) and a nationally certified school psychologist (NCSP #53146). My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University, as well as a master’s in Educational Psychology and a doctoral degree in School Psychology from Texas A&M University. I completed my post-doctoral fellowship training at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Most of my experience in school psychology has been working with individuals 0-21 years old. I typically provide services to adolescents and their parents.

I have experience working with adolescents coping with depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship issues, and attention deficits. I am fortunate to have worked with individuals of many different cultural, spiritual, and linguistic backgrounds. I believe this is crucial to healthy development of identity for every individual.

One of the hallmarks of effective therapy is the development of a therapeutic relationship based on trust. In order to build trust, one must be competent, trustworthy and respectful. My job is to aid individuals in making progress towards their own goals. To this end I seek to understand and communicate as clearly and effectively as possible with each and every client. During therapy, I work to adjust to each client’s needs when unforeseen difficulties arise in their life. I use evidence-based techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy.

As a therapist, I always want to convey my empathetic support for individuals seeking assistance with challenges they are facing. I admire individuals’ bravery and willingness to improve their circumstances.
