I am a Marriage and Family therapist licensed in California with over 14 years of experience working as a clinical therapist, Interventionist and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of issues including co-occurring disorders, addiction and process addiction, depression, anxiety, anger management and domestic violence, mindfulness, relationship issues, life challenges. I also helped many people who have experienced trauma or emotional abuse.

My therapy style is client centered and interactive. Respect, compassion and open-mindedness and meeting the client where they are at are principles which I practice building relationships with clients. It is also my belief that we are not our diagnosis and that stigmas only prevent clients from moving forward with their goals. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral, narrative, humanistic, psychodynamic and Jungian therapy. I work collaboratively with the client creating our sessions and treatment plan to design your own individualized therapy.

In sum, fairytales do not teach us that dragons exist, rather fairytales teach us that dragons can be defeated. Our stories are unique, and it takes strength and courage to face the emotions that have prevented us from fulfilling our life's goals and needs.
