My name is Dorye Jackson. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of
experience assisting individuals, couples, groups and families dealing with life stressors. I am licensed in the state of Connecticut. I earned my Master’s degree in social work from Fordham university. My years of experience afforded my the opportunity to assist people of various cultures, religions and economic backgrounds. A warm safe Judgment free environment is provided where clients can feel comfortable with their concerns. I have a passion to assist people with skills to reach their desired outcomes. My motto is “This too shall pass” . The therapeutic approaches that are used include Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution focused Therapy, Spirituality and Mindfulness. My specialties include Anger Management, Anxiety, Depression, Couples Counseling, and Adjustment concerns. I would be happy in assisting you toward a happy meaningful life.
