Welcome!
Talking about emotions can be uncomfortable and scary. I get that! The most important goal for me is that you feel safe when you talk to me. I have started my own therapy journey years ago and remember how nervous I was in the beginning. It helped me a lot that I felt heard and understood by my therapists, and I am striving to create a safe space for you where you can just be YOU!
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist because I believe that we live in relationships: with ourselves, with family members, with friends and colleagues, and with society and the world around us. Sometimes, these relationships are not as smooth and fulfilling as we'd like them to be. I am going to help you to be curious and explore those relationships . A lot of anxiety and depression happens in the struggle with other people and our own expectations. I can help you to accept yourself and find your own meaning in life.
My approach is Internal-Family-Systems informed, and I specialize in healing trauma and attachment wounds. I can also help you with addiction (drugs, food, alcohol, shopping, you name it...) and grief/loss.
