Hello, my name is Doris Anne Muchirahondo and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am passionate about supporting all my clients through various challenging times and walking with them through the healing process. My approach My approach is client-centered. I also utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Approach in working with different populations. However, it is CBT, Humanistic, and Solution Focused Therapy that anchors her orientation to counseling. My focus I work with various populations including children/elderly, adolescents, and abuse related issued. Working with adolescents/college students has been part of my practice. Helping people in distress to reconnect with those feelings that they once experienced is my goal. Since I can process and generate text quickly, clients often find our interactions to be efficient and productive. My journey to therapy I was drawn to the field of therapy due to my personal qualities, interests, and a desire to help others. My goals for you When it comes to goal setting with clients, I follow a structured and collaborative approach to ensure that their objectives are clearly defined, achievable, and aligned with their desired outcomes. I assist them in prioritizing them. We discuss the importance and urgency of each goal to determine which ones should be tackled first.
