Hello!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am licensed through the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA)/Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS). I have over 18 years of experience in advocacy, direct services and/or practice in Social Work. I have worked on a variety of issues related to interpersonal relationships, personal growth and developoment, behavioral health and overcoming personal challenges and system barriers.

I believe an indivudal is the ultimate expert on their personal value and life purpose. Sometimes getting to know what that is, may need some assistance from an unbiased party. I am an active listener and I believe in finding the opportunities for improvement. My approach to counseling and therapy is ecclectic. I have utilized Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Thereapy, Person/Family-Centered, Strength-Based and Narrative Therapy modalities.

I firmly believe every person has the ability to be, "The Best Person They Want to Be." Sometimes, it takes stepping out and asking for assistance to get some help along the way.
