About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. I also participated in a year-long fellowship with Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans’ Hospital and the University of Texas in San Antonio. I have served in both inpatient and outpatient mental/behavioral health settings, including working with interdisciplinary teams in both settings. I have been VA-trained and work well with Veterans as well as the general population. I have 13 years helping clients with a wide range of mental health issues with a specialization in trauma of all types, PTSD, grief, and bereavement. I use a client-centered, strengths-based therapeutic approach and work collaboratively with clients to help them with the areas they desire to address. I have extensive training and experience in evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapies, CPT, EMDR, and more. It is my passion to work with each person and help provide the tools and support during his or her life challenges.
