About

I am a licensed clinical social worker and master addiction counselor. I am licensed in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, and Arkansas with almost 20 years of experience as a clinician. I have worked with clients at various stages in their lives and in multiple settings, which include, inpatient, outpatient, and in-home services. My specialties include substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, changes of life issues, work-related stress, and grief and loss. I also have an extensive background in working with the military and veteran population and understand their unique issues.

My therapy style is primarily cognitive-behavioral therapy, however, I also utilize cognitive processing. I believe that people are not their diagnosis, therefore I believe in treating each person as an individual and I am willing to tailor the therapeutic process to meet their unique needs.

It takes a great deal of courage to seek therapy and to admit that there might be a problem that is not easily solved alone. I am here to offer my services as needed to support you in getting to a place of strength and interdependence.
