Hello and Welcome
My name is Dorene Blake. I am a mature woman with 25+ years experience working with a wide variety of individuals , couples and families. I have contracted with The Department of Defense ( Families of Servicemen and women living overseas), The Red Cross (Disaster Mental Health) , and Family Service Agency ( mental health for all age clientele). My training has included inpatient counseling for adults and adolescents in hospital settings.

I received my Masters degree in Education and counseling from The University of California and The University of San Francisco. I am also a parent of a large family which has informed my work with child and family development. My training in CBT, PTSD, Experiential, Gestalt, and Family Systems has been woven and renewed throughout. I believe in a conversational style of session. with plenty of attention paid to listening, questions and feedback.
