Donna Havens, MEd comes to Handel Behavioral Health with an extensive background in working with individuals, couples, youth and families in a variety of settings, including community, in-home, school and residential. She integrates her experience, education, wisdom and intuition as teacher, coach, counselor and advisor to create a holistic healing experience for clients, focusing on life as the hero/heroine’s journeying towards wholeness in spirit, mind and body. Donna’s approach is empathic, compassionate, relational, client-centered and collaborative, with a deep belief in and respect for each client’s own knowing and ability, with the help of an authentic therapeutic connection, to tap into their own capacities, strengths and resilience in order to return to a life they love of health, joy, self-love, connection, meaning, acceptance, vibrance and vitality.
