I offer a strengths-based, collaborative and client-centered approach to finding solutions to a wide range of life challenges and psychological issues. Drawing on (and trained in) a multitude of evidence-based styles and techniques, I work with adults, older adolescents, and couples (LGBTQ+ and straight) to help each client identify and achieve her or his personal therapy goals.

I am trained and experienced in many different kinds of effective approaches (see partial list below) to resolving a wide range of mental and emotional conditions and life challenges. These conditions include (but are not limited to) depression, bereavement (including pregnancy loss), anxiety (whether transient or persistent), bipolar disorder, trauma-related symptoms and conditions, life transition issues, and relationship concerns.

I especially welcome persons for whom it is important to work with a therapist who is LGBTQ -friendly, as well as persons whose spiritual practice or religious affiliation is an important part of the conversation of therapy. As a result of my years of work as as a trainer and supervisor, I also specialize in working with clients who are themselves therapists or other medical professionals.
