Within the last 10 years I have worked in various social service settings including residential treatment facilities, domestic violence centers, community resource centers, schools, etc. While working in these settings I also graduated with a master's in Social Work in Cleveland, OH from Case Western Reserve University. I have been providing clinical counseling in outpatient and school-based settings for the last 5 years. Within my counseling experience I have worked with individuals and families learning to manage anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and life transitions. A majority of my clientele has been women between the ages of 17-45.

I believe that every person is deserving of a safe space where they can be true to who they are without judgment or discrimination. Unfortunately for a lot of us,, spaces like this are not common or easily accessible, so I believe my purpose as a therapist is to help create these spaces for others as often as I can. If you are struggling to find ways to cope with the stressors in your life, or if your emotional experience has made it difficult for you to move forward, reach goals, or build healthy relationships with others I believe I may be able to help create a space with you to begin this healing journey.

I am not the expert on you or your life, nor should I be, only you are. I believe that with the support of therapy we can learn about ourselves, our brains, and our bodies and discover ways to best manage the ups and downs of life. I practice with many therapeutic techniques but mainly through a lens of Cognitive Behavioral and Trauma Informed Therapy. I am a teacher and a friend all mixed up in one. With this approach my clients feel comfortable exploring and learning but also feel empowered to maintain accountability in order to achieve the progress they desire.
