I am a licensed clinical social worker licensed in N.C. & S.C with a little over 9 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I have worked with clients dealing with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, addictions, family conflict, couple’s issues, military/Veteran’s issues, trauma, men’s issues, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, anger management, LGBTQ issues, & PTSD.

My counseling style is supportive, warm, and interactive. I believe in listening and treating everyone with respect, dignity, and compassion. I do not believe in judging or labeling the clients I work with. My approach combines Adlerian Psychology, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic Psychology, mindfulness, & psycho-education. I am trained in the 12 step recovery and harm reduction models in addition to relapse prevention planning for addiction recovery. I also have experience working w/ dual diagnosed clients struggling w/ addictions & mental health issues. I will work with you to get to the root of your issues because I believe that change is impossible without awareness. Once you have awareness & the willingness to work towards change then we can work together to develop new skills/techniques to give you the tools to face and overcome the barriers that get in the way of you living the life that you want to live. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your specific needs based on the goals you set for yourself.
