About
Have you ever experienced insurmountable stress? Have you been a victim of crime? Or experienced other major life events that left you feeling lost, abandoned, or misunderstood?
I use compassion, gentleness, and empathy to help you explore the best possible outcome to lift the burden you may feel.
I work to bring harmony and balance to your life by enabling you to overcome adversity, stress, or trauma that you may have experienced.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys providing counseling therapy to individuals at different stages. I create a brave space for clients to share as much information about themselves as they feel comfortable. I have worked with clients who faced challenges getting along with their families and those who have self-esteem and confidence barriers. I believe in the person-centered approach to therapy. My approach to counseling is simple. I treat every client with respect. You will not be judged and will benefit from an individualized treatment that considers your strength, needs, and goals. My only goal for the client is that he/she gets what they need from therapy and feel more empowered to conquer the issues that brought them into counseling.
There are quite a few evidence-based treatments that I include in counseling. I commonly used Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am open-minded, gentle, and adaptable. I work collaboratively with my clients, and they know and feel that their opinions, wants, and desires matter.
My past clients have described me as "warm, nurturing, real, honest, and not afraid to tackle tough conversations." I want to commend you for reaching out for support. You are stronger than you believe, and I am here to support and empower you.
