I have worked in a variety of settings serving adults and older adults for 20 years. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) as well as have specialized training in trauma, grief/loss, and addictions. I specialize in adult individual therapy working on issues such as symptoms of mental illness, trauma, and unhealthy relationship dynamics. I rely on an eclectic mix of therapy techniques such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma informed therapy, among others. I am a strong believer in individuals empowering themselves towards positive change at their own pace and recognize as well the importance of the therapist/client relationship as key to improving oneself.
